Hershel was always interested in the great outdoors ever since he was young. His father William, taught Hershel all that he knew about hunting, foraging and survival in the outdoors. Hershel was originally a campground owner back in Clear Cove. When business wasn't working out in Clear Cove for him, he decided to sell the land and move over to Buffalo Hills to find better opportunities. Although he has always preferred to live by himself in a cabin in the woods, Hershel had always enjoyed the community that he lives in. He usually likes to offer a helping hand if someone is in need.
